Pegasus Spyware: How Your Phone Gets Hacked Without a Click How mercenary spyware works | CYBER MECHANICS What if someone wanted everything on your phone - messages, microphone, photos, location, even end-to-end encrypted messages after they reach your phone - and you never clicked a link? For some Pegasus attacks, that was the point.

The target did nothing. This is a defensive investigation of Pegasus, commercial mercenary spyware built by NSO Group and sold as a surveillance system. The film follows one selected phone from targeting through compromise, surveillance, command and control, forensic detection, and defense. You will see: 1. TARGET - an operator selects a specific phone 2.

ENTRY - zero-click vs one-click, without exploit code 3. EXPLOIT CHAIN - why one bug is not the whole device 4. THE NORMAL SCREEN - the owner sees none of this 5. ENDPOINT - encryption in transit is not encryption on a compromised phone 6. SENSORS - a phone is a microphone, camera, and GPS 7. COMMAND AND CONTROL - tasking and results, not a map of servers 8.

FORENSICS - correlation, M. V. T. , no match is not clean 9. DEFENSE - threat notifications, Lockdown Mode, updates Pegasus does not need to break the messaging protocol. It compromises the endpoint where the message is already decrypted. Changing an account password does not remove spyware already running on the device.

A clean scan does not mean the phone is clean. Most users are not targets of attacks this sophisticated. High-risk users can update software, enable Lockdown Mode, use a strong passcode, and take vendor threat notifications seriously. Pegasus is not magic. It is an exploit chain against a real computer you carry everywhere.

This film does not provide exploit code, payloads, or instructions for deploying spyware.
